Dedicated to advocating for the rights of the visually impaired, ABU strives to be the authentic voice representing blind and partially sighted persons across the diverse regions of Central Asia, South Asia, and the Middle East.

Our Mission

ABU is divided into three distinct regions—Central Asia (Afghanistan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan), South Asia (Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Maldives) and Middle East (Bahrain, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Syrian Arab Republic, United Arab Emirates and Yemen).
